Reading Week
Dear parents:
Constant reading habits are a source of knowledge and learning. Not only do they help in the development of skills such as creative and analytical thinking but also enrich and improve students’ lives.
As a conscious attempt to encourage reading habits among students, the English
Department is celebrating the Reading Week from: 20th October 2021 to 28th October 2021.
Activities

1. Wednesday: October 20, 2021 |
Choose a story or a book to read. You can visit libraries, bookstores, websites, or ask your teachers and friends for recommendations. |

2. Sunday: October 24, 2021 |
After reading the story well, write to your friends about it. Imagine that you are the main character or the author of the story. |

3. Monday & Tuesday: October 25, 26, 2021 |
Translate chapters into storyboards and cartoons, draw the most important scene in the chapter, and explain its importance and action. |

4.Wednesday & Thursday: October 27, 28, 2021 |
Bring along the story you are reading and enjoy reading time with your teacher and classmates. Dress up as your favorite book character and create monologues for your peers. |
