Kuwait Academy Bilingual (KABS) strives to transform the lives of students and families from K-12. We continually work towards preparing our students for their journey of life-long learning and success. KABS accepts Kuwaiti and non-Kuwaiti students regardless of religion or gender who meet the following criteria:

Age:
As per the Kuwait Ministry of Education, the starting age requirements are as follows:
♦ LKG: 3 years, 6 months old by the 15th of September
♦ UKG: 4 years, 6 months old by the 15th of September
♦ Grade 1: 5 years, 6 months old by the 15th of September
♦ And so on, through Grade 12.

Academics:
♦ Prospective KG students are selected based upon interview, school readiness skills, and behavioral observations conducted by a team consisting of administrative, and academic staff. Students must be toilet trained.
♦ All other student applicants must pass the KABs admission assessment in Arabic, English, and Mathematics. Transferring students must have a passing grade for the most recent academic year completed.
♦ The Kuwait MOE Equivalency Office will determine the grade placement for students transferring from schools outside Kuwait. -
Motivation & Conduct:
♦ Applicants must provide evidence of good conduct. All transferring students must submit a completed Transferring Student Conduct Form from their most recently attended school. In addition, student’s motivation will be assessed throughout the admission assessment process.
