We are honored that your student is attending our school or considering it. We are privileged to have professional administrators and educators who are committed to challenging our students and providing them with valuable learning experiences .
We are Cognia accredited, with course work that prepares for success at university and beyond, while providing a bilingual education that meets or exceeds the standards of both the American Common Core and the Kuwait Ministry of Private Education curricula .
Our classroom emphasis is to engage students including through use of interactive digital resources. Assignments, activities, lessons, and assessments are carefully aligned with curricula standards through explicitly stated learning targets. Thereby students can know and practice the skills and information needed for high achievement .
This year we will also institute MAP standardized testing that is independent of our own assessments to further track and verify learner progress and improvement .
Let me close with reference to our KABS values. All are important yet Learning and Safety are the foundation. Student (and staff) rights are violated by any actions that threaten safety or disrupt learning. In conjunction with the Ministry, we pledge to uphold and protect these values without exception or compromise .
